Tasting Note:
Delightful and persistent bubbles in this elegant Italian classic, offering aromatic aromas with flavours of fresh citrus and pear drops, perfectly balanced acidity and body.
Background Information:
Versatile, affordable, and delicious- we are not sure if you need any more reason to choose Prosecco. Our Bella Giuliana Prosecco hails from north-eastern Italy, a winemaking area for millennia and is DOC in quality. According to EU law, Prosecco DOC (Denominazione di Origine Controllata) can come from just two regions of Italy: Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The DOC covers over 35,000 acres and includes major territories like Venice, Verona, and Trieste. To obtain a DOC label, the wine must be made in adherence to strict rules in growing and production methods, as well as meet defined quality standards. It is this adherence to the strict DOC regulations and sourcing grapes from the best growers in Veneto that give Bella Giuliana those characteristic pear fruit flavours and refreshing high acidity, but it defines why Bella Giuliana is better than your average Prosecco.
Food Pairing:
When it comes to food pairing, Prosecco is super versatile and pairs well with a vast range of dishes from different cuisines. There are not many wines which work well enough to be served before yet also work well with the main course, but Prosecco does that perfectly.
