Tasting Note: A bright beer with a fresh aroma of caramel. The taste of lemon rind merges with a touch of sweetness from the malts. A traditional pilsner style with an English twist. East Kent Goldings. Lavender, honey and thyme on the nose. Tastes mildly bitter with sweet, silky notes and brings earthy spices with citrus fruit elements.

Background Information: Jake’s Drinks is a new collection of craft beers and ciders from the winemakers at the acclaimed Balfour Winery in Kent. Drawing on the county’s heritage for growing the finest hops, they combine local varieties with modern hybrids to create complex yet balanced beers. A flavoursome craft lager created with a traditional Kentish hop and an American classic. Showing plenty of patience, our Winemakers, Owen and Fergus Elias, leave the lager in tank for up to two months, allowing the rich flavours to fully develop.
