The nose has an abundance of ripe black fruits, predominantly blackberry and boysenberry. Oak aging has contributed a pleasing mélange of rich creamy caramel and maple syrup scents, with just a barely perceptible waft of smoke. The dense viscous liquid delivers all of the flavours one would expect from the aromatics. Savoury and luscious with a pleasantly persistent finish.
