Tasting Note:
This wine is fresh and balanced, it has complex aromas of pear, aniseed and floral notes of white lily, followed by a spice and lime finish. ‘Loose Rein’ is a term used to describe a way of horse riding in which the jockey holds the reins loosely allowing the horse to relax. Yotes Court chose this name as they gave Nick Lane, their expert winemaker, complete freedom over the wine and allowed him to decide on the direction. They planted their Pinot Gris vines in 2018, with 2021 being their first harvest, and now in 2022, their first wine.
